Hey Champions!

If you had the ability to record the internal dialog going on in your head about yourself and the world, what kind of things would be coming across your mind?  If you are like  most human beings, then what’s going on inside of your own head can be pretty negative, defeating and limiting thoughts about yourself and the world.  We now know that our brain builds structures and support around the things that we pay attention to and think about.   If we are gonna build structures in our brain around the things we are thinking about and the things that we are doing, then I suggest we all start thinking much more about all of the things that make us beautiful people to one another.

You are a superhero waiting to happen

Yes… YOU!  I am of the firm belief that inside of you resides Love, joy, beauty, character, strengths and talents.  I am also of the belief that those amazing things that are inside of us do not belong to us.  They are to be used to uplift our brothers and sisters out there in the world.  We have something… each of us has something for the world.   It is our mission to discover, cultivate and nourish these and then share them unsparingly to the world.   The more you give your greatness away in benefit to mankind, the more it comes back to you.

So please…  let’s get in the practice of recognizing the amazing things inside of each of us, and share them with the world.   Here is a bit of a hint…..   As you recognize your strengths, you begin to recognize them in others… and vice versa.   If you spot it… you got it…    So share.. share and share away..

It takes practice… but it is definitely worth it…..   So come on with it….  Share your strengths!

Ya’ll know I’ve got nothing but Love for Forever Jones!  How could I not?   When God went into the studio to put the soundtrack of Divine Love for humanity together, Kim & Dewitt Jones, Dewitt IV, Mya, Dominique’, D’Jeniele & Judah are the final product.  I have known this family… well… for my entire life.    Kim and Dewitt are my godparents.  They were at my baptism, they have prayed for me.. they have prophesied and sung over me and my life.

In a time in my life when I have been spending a lot of time having conversations with God about my life, my plan, and my purpose… they come out with their sophomore CD that seems like I have been a part of their daily prayers.   This CD speaks to me.   and I’m gonna tell you what it’s been saying to me….  I’m going to go through the album from the first song and describe what each song is speaking to me.  To get the titles.. ya’ll gotta grab the CD!  

My Identity is in YOU (The Love of God!)

They start out letting me know that the Love of God that resides inside of me is BIG!  It is REALLY, REALLY BIG!  My identity rests in that place of everlasting and eternal Love, that flows through me to the world.  The Love of God is bigger than my fears and my insecurities.  The Love of God is bigger than anyone’s condemnation of me, and that includes the worse culprit… Myself!

PEACE be Still

Even when life is crashing around you… I am held in the Love of God.   There is no reason to fear moving forward powerfully in all that you are called to do…  God’s got ya!  Always has… always will.

Love is welcoming… Love Welcomes… and YOU are welcome wherever the presence and Love of God abide.  There is no resistance from the Love of God.  You are desired!  You are wanted!   Right here.. right now.   LOVE WELCOMES.   LOVE IS WELCOMING!   Thank you.. I don’t have to be in control of everything

I am so limited in my ability to see everything that is going on in this world.   It can be a stressful, intimidating and downright scary place to be… wanting to move forward in the world without all the answers.  Don’t worry… The Love of God is there…  in the midst of chaos… keeping you.. Loving you… girding you up.   Be confident and just go!  It is ALL gonna work out for my good… cause I Love the Lord and am called according to the purpose of God’s Love reigning on the earth.

Psalms 139 – If I make my bed in hell.. YOU ARE THERE!

This was my scripture dedicated to me before my birth.   God LOVES me… I am pursued even into the hell of my own negative and limiting thoughts of myself and others.. The Love of God is even present there.  Wherever I may be.  The Love of God is there groovin’ right along with me..   It’s just the way Divine Love is… It’s just the way of Love!

Nothing Like the Love of God

I got hooked early in life.   To this date I have yet to have one single experience that compares to praise and worship.

I know your heart.. I’ve been watching you

There was a period of time when I refused to experience the Love of God… I was listening to people.. the thoughts in my head that would tell me that I am not worthy of the Love of God.  But God sees.. and God knows.. and God Loves!

Jesus to the Rescue

It is sometimes difficult to admit that you need help, and when you do, it is even more difficult to find people who are able to do so.   Before you admit it, the Love of God is there with everything that you need..   I am living witness..  and if you don’t believe me right now… then just pay attention to me for the next year and a half.

It’s time to come together.. it’s time to be with one another 

Where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, then he is there in the midst.   God IS LOVE…. so then.. where the people of God are… then tangible… and palpable LOVE is also present.   That’s my barometer… Love… for EVERYONE!!!   hey… You are welcome here..in my life.

Hey Champions, 

There was a period of time when I lived in a world of no-one-can-be-trusted.  Based off experiences and situations of the past, I formulated a Realizone that was dictating the reality manifesting into my life.  My actions and behaviors lined up with my view of the world, and that created isolation, fear and even loneliness as I strove to keep everyone untrustworthy at bay.  It wasn’t until I was able to see that I viewed the world as a distrustful and scary place, that I could open up to a new view of the world and make more constructive and creative choices with my life.

An Invitation

Take 30 minutes of uninterrupted time for yourself, and describe the character and nature of the world that you are living in.  Be honest with yourself.  Is it a world where people genuinely care about the welfare of one another, or is it a dog-eat-dog kind of world?  Did I mention to be honest with yourself?  Try not to regurgitate what you are hearing in the media, or from your friends or family, but instead, get as close to your core beliefs as you possibly can.  It makes the exercise come to life.

When you’ve got your description of the world completed, check and see if the words that come out of your mouth on a regular basis align with your view of the world?  What about particular areas of life where you are more effective or less effective than your average effectiveness?  In those instances how does your communication match up with your overarching view of the world?
